So how did everything go BingBong? I think i am doing the same load after my Oxnard unload. That is if they can take my product. I have had to.wait many days before to unload. Do you enter that tankwash from Downey or Vernon . Looks like it could be either. Then I go to Ashland for Jacksonville AR. We'll see how it all works out.

Turn right on Vernon then left into the tank wash and it lines you up for the racks. Where are you guys delivering to in Oxynard? Mine was a waste water plant?

Just got through "delivering" my load out of Sacramento. Sat for 30 hours at the terminal before my 3 am appointment. Had Joe call yesterday to see if I could deliver early. Oh no the had to have it as scheduled. Get to the plant and was told to drop the trailer. It was so close to the yard my elog didn't even kick to the drive line. Guys at the plant were great and couldn't believe I was told they couldn't take it early.

I load at noon today in Deer Park Tx heading to Bradford Pa delivering Friday. Sort of wish I hadn't started my 14 at 3 AM today.

I deliver to P&G. They always get a load of Karlinal from Cincinnati. They always seem to order too soon. I don't mind waiting though. If anyone ever needs a hotel right next to oxnarf I know of one.

That's so typical about your wait to unload. Guys at the plant are surprised, but their office staff and our dispatchers act like we are delivering blood:biggrin_2559: Is that load out of Ashland haz-mat? I don't have a 20 lbs fire ext for California....

Those Ashland loads are resin so yes they are flammable.

It is looking like Lubrizol is going to run out my 14 under the rack. Been here 4 hours and they haven't started loading me yet. I have an hour and a half left on my 14. Looks like I am sleeping at this plant tonight.

That Bradford place is the only place i have ever loaded myself. Very common load for Karns City. Guess I will call Joe and see what he wants to do . I'm not risking it without the Cali fire ext.

I guess he has a guy that is going to come to me at the tankwash to put on the ext. That Ashland place really is small. I can see why they want u to drop and get the hell out of the way.

The live load went ok took about 4 hours could see traffic building and my 14 running out.

Before that spent a couple days in Phoenix at my parents house had good time there. On sun headed to Ontario CA leaving 100 miles to water treatment plant. Arrived at plant 7 am left little after 9. Made it to tank wash about 11 lucky backed me right in done 12:45 then to Ashland at 1300. Backed me in right away not sure what happened next seemed slow to start then waited about hour for coa. Made back to Ontario right at 14 hour was hoping truck would take 50 gallons for free parking. Good thing did not top off night before was able to get 50 gallons two days in a row because need two nights of parking.

Now in western OK about 470 miles away with a Friday am delivery. Guess will head to Petro in Little Rock and hang out tomorrow evening then drive a few miles Friday to Ashland.

Glad it worked out for you. I have slept at that tank wash a couple of times. Its open 24 hours so there are at least people around and a bathroom available. Wouldn't want to chance it on the streets in that neighborhood.

Our shop installed one on the passenger side floor because he was afraid it would be stolen if he mounted it outside the cab and there wasn't enough room in the side boxes. They used self tapping screws to attach the bracket to the sheet metal below the seat. While heading back to the scale in Sacramento I looked down there and saw it sitting in the middle of the floor.

I managed to get the screws back in the holes and ran a bungee around the seat to hold it snug. Don't know if that would pass a DOT inspection or not. The shop in Pasadena put some larger screws in and with the bungee its holding pretty well for now. Shop guy told me they just set them in truck for their drivers to store where they want to.

They need to get some metal boxes that bolt to the catwalk, install a fire extinguisher, throw a set of chains in there. Pull some boxes off these trucks we are selling.

No kidding we need more storage solutions. Well the guy called me today. He sounds like he is someone off of craig's list. He can only get me a used one for $80. He thinks it is charged ?! I looked up the dot rule about placement. They are very specific about it must be mounted. The 'guy' says he has no way of mounting it. If this is such a common Cali load we should have a better solution.

Rob give me a heads up if that place in Bradford makes you wear a nomex suit to unload. I had to wear their extra one that was made for my sister to load. I should make Dave buy me one. I have been under his territory so much lately I'm afraid I may have to fit in it again.
