Well to those of you calling me a schlub and to check my grammar, you can kiss my grits. To the one saying I could not get a killer job, I am already half way there. I can return to a manufacturing job, but would like to keep driving, but have some options like weekends off and steady pay. The one thing I really hate about comments on these threads was that they see the headline and then blast out and blather on about how stupid I am. You were a newb once and have forgotten the trials and tribulations, hopefully you could give some advice that is useful and not some haughty response that would really discourage someone from pursuing excellence. I have not become discouraged, but have gained EXPERIENCE. I know what I am worth and who I am and see some good things in my future. To Kid Cardiac, I have broken contracts four times with other companies with no financial implications and no other repurcussions because I have studied the U.C.C. and the C.F.R. and two other law systems. It took my nine years to find out how, but I have done it. Just because you may have finished an elementary and secondary education, does not mean you get to dictate the reality to others that something is impossible. You don't know me sir, therefore you should check your judgements before speaking. TO ANJ8488, The response above to Kid Cardiac should suffice. I have just found that at this point in time its easier to finish.
To Rick G, do you know how many truckers are going to part time or retiring? Then shut your cake hole. I know two other friends who have a good in road for me, other than what I find myself. Just because you think the oyster holds no pearls, don dump on someone elses parade son. Rollin Coal............You sound like you drive a lifted toyota pick up, drink cheap beer and have a toothless wife/GF or BF. I have seen your type at all the truck stops bragging about what a bad ### you are and the sleeveless t'shirts you wear with the big belt buckles and manure kickers tell a different story. You don't me or who I know, a good luck will suffice next time instead of your "let me tell you how bright I am boy" attitude that tells me you are a simple dolt who knows a few things about trucks and thats the only intelligencia you can spew. Well, that is not braggidocio on your part, it exposes your cerebral lack and tells us about your modus operandi. 1026; Your sentence structure BLOWS worse than the blog I put on and punctuation is abhorrent, you might want to rehash your Hooked On Phonics course! Happy days to you all.

So you create a thread seeking advice and flip out when it is something you don't want to hear.

    SMH .....

Was there a valid point somewhere in all that inane rambling?

My intention was not to get a bunch of "you are a dummy" answers. I guess I should have made the point that PAM is a baloney company and there are some guys there that get treated well, that is not the majority. I was giving my opinion which there are a million and if someone gleaned some wisdom from it, good. Thanks Jackofall trades, were you looking for a valid point? Because if you read from the beginning it would have been clear. Anj, my anger at this company may be showing through. It is not my intention to step on anyone's toes, but when I come on and give the points that others need to know about PAM, I am simply doing that. Documenting my experiences. I have a bachelor's degree and really usually get along well with people. The corporate structures and gargantuan amounts of greed and lies in the business are what new folks like me need to hear. Again, there are some who for one reason or another do well, but here at PAM, that is a very, very slim minority. I have seen the light and have found a great company and the odd thing is that my PAM trainer said when I finish with PAM I should go with them. Maybe that is the one jewel in the pile of manure that I have earned for doing my first year.

No Cardiac, but seeing this the TOU on the TTR say we should be courteous, I simply have notified Rollin Coal that is no longer welcome here. I did reply to you for my harshness and I read your story, that blows, I hope you walk away from PAM and get the dream job you are looking for.
