Back to WSE march 20th

I have a 11PM delivery appointment at Mclane in Temple Texas tonight. I doubt I will get to Atlanta till the end of the week, so I doubt I will see you.

 

My day,

Started at Mclane this morning. I did my 10 hr break there. I then drove to Dallas Texas with a 1630 Pickup. Once getting to Dallas I discover my Reefer has 2 loose belts, so off I go to TK in Dallas, its 1600 by the time I get to the shipper. Its 1900 when I finally get loaded, then I see I am 80600 gross, so back to shipper to get some weight off, my 14 hr clock expired at shipper so I am here for the night. I hope there are no lot lizzards around here then I got to go reweigh in the AM and hoping this load is legal now. If all goes well I should be in Atlanta Sometime just after lunchtime Thursday.

 

Well I finally made it to Monroe Georgia! It was nice meeting you wes! I hope you and the other guys all have a blast tonight.

 

Gosh I am so glad I am finished with that load. I had to go inside and restack a pallet of shrimp that had fell. I am at home now ready to start my home time. Stay safe out there!!

 

That's great. I was in the Atlanta terminal sunday morning for about 30 minutes. I needed something important in my tractor for this morning. I ran into one of the company trainers about to head out, he told me he had about another week left on his 2 week notice. He was taking his student to Elm Springs to put him on another truck. I understand the training dept already has a bad trainer shortage. This is one less trainer now.

 

i got my license in febuary...i am going to wse...got to be in atlanta april 3rd....what can i expect for orientation...this will be my first trucking job...
