If you have the part # (which is probably a Freightliner number) you can cross that to a different brand by going to some of the big air bag manufacturers websites. Then you can take the numbers to a smaller parts place that can probably get them cheaper and quicker.
-
Some numbers are exclusive to dealer Parts and can't be crossed. Try ford and western star for the same number and go with the best deal.

some air bags are interchangable, really there are 2 ore 4 types of air bags, so remove your and look at bags in shop. Some chenese are twice cheapper firestone, but no info about durability

ok guys been off working for a while..i took the line loose from the bad bag and blocked it and used the 1 that is good.. now how do i get the bad bag off???? i can put full air in the good bag and turn the bad 1 but can seem to get it off..thanks for all the help..mike

In my WS, I jack up the cab a couple inches past the bag height. Dump all air out of the system. Push the ferrule toward the bag to release the air supply hose. Then I pull out the air bag (nothing retaining it at all). Replace the same way.

ok maybe just stuck from dirt and stuff. thanks mike

On both my peterbilt and Western star there is a 3/8 bolt in the top and a plastic nut on the bottom that threads onto the air line boss.

You could try http://www.anythingtruck.com/ or http://www.truckcomponentsonline.com/
I've used both. -
What year Star do you have? Mine just pops in, probably the easiest thing to do on the truck.
