Probably should go to the political section with your hatred.
But, in reality, his policies sure did not contribute to the many I have dealt with since 2000.

Not hatred and agreed. Simply disagree with the way the boss runs the place......
allniter Thanks this. -
If i remember correctly there was a begger in philly where begging was his job. Would beg everyday, usually at one of the exits to the subway, then get picked up by whomever when he was done. Rummored to have filed tax returns on his 'earnings' too.
I just say no to beggers. No i dont want my wheels or tanks polished, no bootleg dvds, no thanx. If i ever came across someone who was truely hungery, id buy em.something to eat if i could afford it but your not getting any cash. -
This post is in response to Joplinlocal and anyone else who may live in the area.
I came across your comments on this forum while doing research on panhandlers in Joplin. I was wondering if you would like to help me with a little more information about your experience. We can either do an informal background information interview or we could do an on-the-record interview for the story.
Please be in touch at your earliest convenience.
Thanks,
Liz Reid

I've watched truck drivers protect prostitutes and give young girls money to go home. I drive a 20-year-old car. My husband used to hand out money.
Two years ago, a 25-year-old female approached our truck, with a 16-year-old in tow. I had a fit on that girl. I leaned over my husband and said, "You leave this lot, right now! I'm calling the cops and don't you dare knock on another door."
No money from our truck; ever.johnnyreb0706 and bergy Thank this. -
Any young girls in the lot should of called the cops.Their parents need to know where their children are.and I dont give any of them money.that encourages more panhandlers and being solo in my truck I really dont like knocks on my door.
NavigatorWife and northstarfire0693 Thank this. -
Personally I like for them to try to tell their story. Then I question them. Such as the one where "I used to drive..." Oh yeah? Who did u drive for? Why are you out here bumming from truckers if you were a trucker the mysterious run outta gas story..oh yeah? Where's your car? I never give them anything but I do like to take their pic with my phone. When they ask, I tell them it's for law enforcement. They generally don't return. The ones that do return the next day with a different story are always fun too. They forgot the original sob story and have a totally new one. I call them out on it every time.

I've heard all the flat tire stories. I've heard about kids and needs gas. Hell, I've even been told the Red Cross paid for a ticket, but he needs money for food. I never give a dime, if anyone asks. I give money, if I feel like it.
-
I get mad when they beg me for money or food. Caught myself cursing one out and realized my 10 year old daughter was next to me. ####, if kids wouldn't make you see the truth real fast. If I have some spare change I give it. I have a good life and wouldn't want to change places with them. When I give to them I don't do it for them, I do it for me.
