agreed 100% on BOTH points!!!!
please folks-looks at the dates of some of the old threads you pull up and bring back. For those of us that have been around -we generally don't mind answering the same questions, especially to new folks. But when someone is posting back to the OP of a thread that has left TTR (by choice or not such as Southerpride) then something is lost as it was THEIR thread and they now can not respond to your post.
Start a new thread in the appropriate section please.
OR read the old threads to see if maybe your question was answered already.......

Wonderful, sourcing a dead man for an "article". She'll fit right in with today's "media".

I am sorry to see now why S.P. is no longer posting. and I am glad that now I know why. So this digging up a old post has answered my sub conscience question. My thoughts and prayers to Southern Pride's Family.

If digging up old threads is so bad, then maybe they should be deleted after a while?
Don't leave them lingering around if people get shredded for commenting on them.Gizmo_Man Thanks this. -
Sometimes there is more to learn from the older threads...............
from drivers that didn't have an xbox, etc......... -
This girl that bounced this thread thinks outlaw truckers run dope, guns, and stolen cars when in reality "outlaw" truckers merely run overweight and/or with two or three logbooks.Last edited: Mar 29, 2012
lonewolf4ad and sammycat Thank this. -
Better she got some info from those who have lived it than from a 3rd party with an ax to grind.rodknocker, log trucker, Wiseguywireless and 1 other person Thank this. -
Apologies, I didn't look at the post date at all. I saw that it had a recent addition and added. But the sentiment remains the same.

SP explained before he passed what real outlaw trucking is and the lady trying to "interview outlaws" or has already "interviewed an 'outlaw' with interesting stories" doesn't have a clue and obviously had her chain yanked. Outlaw trucking has nothing to do with running a hot logbook or having 3 or 4 logbooks. The outlaws I know never had one period, along with not having authority, no ICC#, farm plates if they had any at all, no insurance and worked for cash crossing state lines.

sp was a friend to alot of ppl on here. I have been on here before but forgot my user id and password so i created a new one. but sp was on here back when i was and his postings were always interesting and a good read. we will all miss him. I did not know the man personally but i have read many of what he wrote. he is in a better place now and his life was no joke. he left us with much to think on, from yesterday and beyond. but with his death we must move forward, moving closer to the truth. Remember some of what he said and the wisdom in his words for that is how he is not forgotten and his memory stand firm.
