I thought WSE got bought out or went under.

    Geez, what a crap hole!

Hope you get something better Exray. You deserve it after getting jerked around by that lowlife outfit.

As I make this reply I am in Houston being detained at a shipper, it's a brokered load and it's looking like a royal cluster F***. The load per the broker is not ready. I was took off of a good drop and hook load on both sides for this crap too. So to say I am not a happy camper right now is a huge understatement. However I have to make this reply.

WSE is owned by Comcar out of Auburndale Florida. And it still being operated out of Elm Springs Arkansas.

The company itself is OK I guess, but the real crap hole is the Atlanta terminal. There are some fine folks that drive and work for WSE. Overall my experience at WSE has been generally good. The miles and pay being the best part. It's the equipment that makes me angry.

I have my X endorsement now, this fall I am hoping to get a local driving job hauling gas/fuel. Till then I plan to stay with WSE.

Looks to me like you have a good plan. I find it hard to believe those with one year or less think that they will get a very good truck driving job by changing jobs two to three times in year. The really good jobs come around for thos that pay their dues, and show some maturity about them.

Anybody ever look back at all the things they did as a trucker and remember EXACTLY why they came off the road in the first place...

...only to wonder why in the hell you want to do it again?

I guess I should have added this about that load. It had 2 stops, both in Florida. I then went down way below Tampa and got a load of tomatoes. I did get some detention pay, but nowhere near enough. Of late I seem to not be able to get long runs, 450 to 500 mile runs are all I can get, and then have long waits between. My miles are way down and it's getting old.
