Please if I can get one message out there. Please do not ork for this company! Lease to own is a horrible program. Only 2% will actually get this truck paid for. You'll never make any money!. My husband went to work march 2011, we made more money on paper in the 15 yrs he's been driving to only go broke!

KLLM only does LO deals now? This was my first company back in 91. They where a good company back then, but like so many in the OTR business it is all about survival at the expense (literally) of the drivers.

kllm also underbid greatwide on the tyson contract and are running for dirt cheap but they only put the lease ops on it...
gee.. i wonder why?? -
I can honestly say that I am shocked that this low-class outfit is still in business. KLLM would probably have already gone under if they had not come-up with that rip-off lease to own gimmick that has enabled them to stay afloat off of the backs of the drivers.
The office staff make rude comments about truckers at probably every company out there, but these people use words to describe truckers that I can't put on this site. No offense to you or your husband Mel (I'm sure he is a good person) but as long as there are the desperate "end-of-the-road" types that will put up with, and do anything to get a trucking job, KLLM will continue to to stay open for at least one more day. Well that and stay one foot ahead of the accounts payable. I once knew a recruiter there and she was a natural born liar.Everett Thanks this. -
They'll probably loose that tyson acc. soon bc no one makes any money on it and no one wants to run it . I'v heard that if you go to the dedicated tyson run and want to leave it now they will fire u. Thats in the contract when you sign up for it .

REALLY? If you are only two weeks in, you shouldn't have a opinion yet. Don't be a cheerleader unless you know what you are cheer leading for -
This was this guy's first post (under this name). As someone right above me mentioned, two weeks is not enough time to form a reasonable opinion about a company, especially as a L/P operator; I hear the same positive things from newbies at CRE.
Some 22+ years ago, I worked operations for a local PU&D company and we'd get some T/L shipments to our dock by KLLM. My limited dealings with those drivers and the people I spoke with in their operations department were very positive. But as I said in the last sentence, that was 22 years ago. Don't know how they are nowadays.
