Sitting at the small truck stop on I-94, exit 45. About 90 mins from my delivery, but not too many places to park between here and there so I figured this is as good as any.
Shots, good to see you heading home.
Notez, we have to stop running into each other in Appleton. And get that blue beast replaced!
TF, hope the kids are ok.

Congrats on the first student passing, Treefork. That's really cool.
Sitting in Mounds View, MN in a customers yard. They sent me here with a little over 1 hour left on my 14 so of course after I got loaded, secured, and tarped I had no time left to leave. Supposed to deliver in Milwaukee at 0830 but I can't even start my day until 0530.
On the upside, my tarp looks pretty darn good and I'm getting quite a bit faster. -
Mound View??? Picking up Shingles from Owens Corning? And you tarped it? Hope your BOL said Tarp!

The last load I had from there I sent FM message saying no Tarp on BOL so I'm not tarping. Got a response that it is automatically generated as a tarp and if it doesn't say it on the BOL then don't. Of course, this was after I didn't tarp a Certainteed load that didn't need to be tarped and the relay driver complained that it wasn't. Either way you can't win!

I haven't had to tarp the last couple of shingle loads so I was hoping this one wouldn't have to be. Looked at the bills and sure enough must tarp. The last one I had it wasn't on the bills so I called and they told me not to tarp it. I get to the consignee and the guy starts yelling at me about how he pays extra for it to be tarped. Thought it was pretty funny, tbh.

Anyone in Milldale, CT today fueling at the TA? I was there asking about dropping my trailer on hometime. Saw a Roehl curtainside fueling up. Anyway what a b**** at the counter. I just walked out and found a place down the street that would let me. Secured lot with cameras.

At home now... not a good trip miles wise, but it will do. Hate being down for maint. Just takes money out of your pocket every time!

Rolling back east. Did a bunch of local stuff around Denver yesterday running trailers between customers and the BNSF rail yard. I got out of town in the evening and stopped in western NE and this evening I'm stopped in IA. I have until Monday morning to get to Toledo, OH. Nice easy run across the flats. I'm planning on stopping in Gary tomorrow. The trailer I have desperately needs to be washed. I think it's been sitting in the dusty drop lot that I picked it up in for months. Oh well, six and a half hours to Gary tomorrow.

Its Friday so you know what that means? I'm home!

Let us know how your miles are after a few weeks. It will be interesting to see how you do on the dedicated.
