Wilma,she got banned or quit the site,not sure why but its a loss for the most part,especially the newer people...She always had good insight and was articulate and she shared what she knew or had experienced.As far as big shrek goes think he is still at swift in memphis,but i dont know that for sure,and i really did like getting the inside the office scoop from him on how swift works on that side of the quallcom.miss his input here too......sigh but people do move on too...

Behind a Valero on I-35 exit 282 or 283 near Salado, TX. Nice place that apparently no one knows about. Little Mexican food restaurant with inexpensive excellent food and a lot of parking. Tcalled my lightweight load at Lancaster and a few hours later headed out for Laredo with a fatty. Nine rolls of paper and I'm at 79,400 lbs. This delivers Monday 7am so I have time to stop off in San Antonio to get a haircut, etc...

Home Sweet Home. Have one more day to get the house ready. Finished out the run at 9.2 avg.

 

I should make Laredo tomorrow night, 9AM paper load Monday.

They're in Hammond, LA at the Petro ... I generally have no problem getting a spot there as late as 9pm ... pulled in at 7:30 with 20 minutes left on my clock, only to find no room at the inn ... moved down the road and spending the night in the coop.

 

Home in phoenix doing a 34 and Still under dispatch until Monday. Going to to do my log class and meet my new Pod Quad and request a new truck...I made it here granted the UT and AZ coops were all locked up but I should of been ok because I burned off enough fuel going 60 miles out of route.... I won't make that mistake again..

 

That truck stop in hammond is always full when i go there....There is a little place just one exit up on the I55 tickfaw,found it one night when they ran me off for trying to park in a not so good place in hammond,its a super secret hidey hole,with a resturant(not 24 hrs tho) coffee and a bathroom

 

Laredo terminal. Waiting for the pizza lady. Not many drivers here but almost too much freight. There are sealed trailers everywhere and dispatcher said Laredo drivers are getting a half dozen load choices if they come to the window.
