    yes they put window cams that record when triggered like hard bump,breaking hard ,ect.. facing the driver and out the front window..

    The CB is a hand held device, according to new law. Even though it's one button....
    But i guess if you have a bluetooth radio that's different.

    Sorry but there is no law against drivers using a cell phone as long as they are using a handsfree headset. IE bluetooth.

    Once installed, the driver facing cam in my truck would have a piece of tape over it for that day or two that it took me to find another job.

    Actually, I'm thinking it's to avoid and defend against lawsuits. My guess is it's to make sure the driver is doing what s/he's supposed to, i.e. driving. So in the event of a collision, you don't have a witness or plaintiff claiming the driver was using a cell phone or reading a map or something other than driving, and you've got the outward facing camera to back up the story further of the driver regarding actions outside the vehicle. Just make sure you don't get caught picking your nose or something equally stupid. ;P
