Well I checked my pay today and confirmed what I already knew...no pay due to no miles. They let me sit for four days before getting me a home load. I'd really love to see how the planners and dispatchers would deal with zero pay for a week. Luckily for me I'm not broke. I figure I'll do six months here and find a better job.
I just can't believe all the positive things people said about this company. Just goes to show how you can't believe anything people say in the trucking industry.

I don't know what to say both of you guys are getting the short end of it all, the dispatcher that I have, went over to the Crete side, and got a get home load for me, ( 2 days late ) , it was nice pulling a load of toilet paper with out the Reefer unit running. I might just go over to the dry side, Aug I will have been there 1 yr.

Was nice at home time, took the old Harley out for a spin, weather was great, but, busted my ### around the house. -
I'll have 1184 miles for this week, that's about ache.

They tried that with me, on the third 200 mile dispatch, I told them to cool it, I was hired as an over the road driver, not local, then the miles increased.

Well Got hosed this weekend, was given a 1200 run, pu Sat morning, del mon night, went to the pu, and the place was locked up like a Chruch on monday-morn, after waiting for 2 hrs, and traveling for over an hour, they made some phone calls and no one could figure out which loaded trailer I was to pu, no paper work to be found, and when they did get ahold of a person, no one new which one of the loaded trailers I was to take. LMAO
So I was given the next best thing, travel 200 miles in the other direction, pick it up on sun morn at 0100, and del it 570 miles away tues morning at 0900 WTFO.
Well this week out of the house, I have done 1491 4 days, and my ded-dispacther said I do not know how I am going to pay-ya FOR THE MESS UP, check back with me mon morning. OMG
Also had a DOT insp-passed.

Well, I had two pay problems this week, I gave one to my Driver Mgr, that one was fixed in 2 days, paid me an extra 125 for a mess-up they made.
The other one gave to my support staff at the Term, still waiting for a replie, and was told not to bother them, they will get back to me when they have an answer, ya right, I keep bumping the qual-com info back to them so they wont forget it, and come the 7th day of no answer, I start making waves, over 31 hrs of detention they owe me, 6 weeks ago.
And here's some info for ya to chew on, if I get stuck at a wal=mart and run out of hrs, I was told to call dispatch, and not to find the nearest safe place that is legal to park, they have been known to call a wrecker to tow them to the nearest safe place to legally park.

Well things have definately picked up for me and I'm impressed with the dispatching of late. Hope it keeps up. I see why drivers stay here now.
I'm in Rochelle, Il for a 0400 delivery. This week not as good as the last two but still ok. I'm staying out an extra week this time. Will post back later.
P.S. I'm thinking of moving down to the Deland terminal.

he did not like the answer the main office gave her, so its in the term mgr lap, basically frm what I know they screwed up and did not bill, for the detention, so I am SOL, well got on the phone called my driver mgr, and now he is on board trying to help me get payed. Ill be in Lincoln NE this Fri, maybe I need the oil changed in the trk, we will see if I am there after FRI, LOL
