Suppport Thread for the TND 500, TND 700 or future Rand McNally products.

After getting a replacement unit a few months ago (customer Service) my windshield mount will no longer stay attached to the glass, and yes I have cleaned it. Anyone else experience this? what is your solution?

 

I updates my 710 with new dock and work like a charm, the updates is a must lots of cool new feature and the most impressive feature to me is upload POI, works great, super job Rand McNally team was worth the wait.

 

the suction cup on my tnd 500 quit sticking to the window too. after close examination I found that the black plastic part had melted in the sun. So now instead of flipping the little handle all the way over after putting the cup against the window, I now only move it half way. It's a bit of a trick to get the gps mounted in it's holder with the lever pointing straight out but once in, masive suction.

 

Got my refurbed 500 about an hour ago.

So far (and mind you, this is at home still), no issues. Easy to navigate around the settings, easy to change 'em if you need to, clear display, loud voice...off to a good start. Looking forward to using it starting tomorrow.

 

I got my TND500 back in 2009 and it has been a great tool to have. But I recently upgraded to the TND 510 and I must say so far I am very impressed. It's much faster and has many more bells and whistles on it. It's just built better in my opinion. Thanks for everything you do for us Mark.

 

Getting a little frustrated that I can't update my 500 now since the new docking software was installed. Emails to support go unanswered.
