hhg hauler, the driver that told you they got his truck after 5 days was blowing smoke. if you have a problem and call them, they are more than willing to work with you.

funny how the guys that make their payments seem to have no problems, and the guys that dont , seem to be the ones that have encountered problems.

i am no spokesperson for them, i happen to have actually bought a truck from them, have had no problems, i make my payments, and they have been great to deal with.

the posts on here about insurance and such are far different than what i experienced, some people hear what they want to hear, want the world to cater to them, and seem to always have money problems, truck maintenance problems, etc.

the folks that have a problem with a gps tracker on a financed truck sound like folks that dont plan on making payments to begin with.

I just dont understand what LMT is doing to these drivers?!?!
They are selling used trucks on a lease with fairly low monthly payments. At the end, they send you a title. How about you read their contract before you listen to some truck drivers sitting in a truck stop. I guess successful LMT customers are too busy making money to complain about anything at a truckstop. When you buy a truck off a lot, it is your baby. This is no different.
With this said, Im leaving monday for Georgia to drive back a t600 if it all checks out okay.

i've had my truck for 11 months and have only talked to lone mountain 1 time and that was because they called me by mistake.

truck runs great and repairs have been inline with what i planned....

Before we accept advertising or sponsorship for our Blog or Blog Talk Radio Show, we make sure that those advertising are honest and reputable. We've declined a few companies that were not because we would not want to risk our reputation as "driver advocates"

With that being said, we have only received positive feedback in 2 years Lone Mountain has been advertising with us.
I don't count the one negative, because after investigating the complaint, I realized it was not valid....AT ALL!
Some people were not meant to be in business, and that's what O/O's are, business people. The problem is, many folks would rather "blame" someone else for their failures rather that be accountable or admit to their own poor decisions.

HHG hauler...No, not a spokesman for them, just a satified customer. If you make your payments as promised, and as you are supposed too, then no problem. I had to have a in frame done on my truck, explained the problem to LMT and they moved a payment to the end of the loan. LMT works just like a loan from a bank, this is not your typical lease. You maintain the truck, accesorize the truck and operate the truck just like you would with a bank loan.

I made my payments, got the title mailed to me and now the truck is in my name, no muss, no fuss. What more can you ask from a lender?

Well I arrived here in tifton ,via bus, yesterday AM. On my way here they called to inform me the exhaust manifold gasket was bad and it should be ready today. So I called this morning and cat sent all the neccessary parts but the gasket! Just my luck. Hopefully it checks out ok when I get it dyno'd or I may be here all weekend. Its VERY boring in this town!

Well, I ended up doing alot of walking. 12 miles on Wednesday.

I am finally back home with my T600. This truck is very impressive! I drove it 1000 miles home. Averaged 7.14mpg with a 120k resistor on the fuel temp wire(is that decent for bobtail?). The dyno pull was 89% power with 422RWHP@1600RPM. Thats pretty good. It has all new VIRGIN rubber all around. Virgin brakes. New exhaust manifold gasket. New steering gear box, rods, and ends. New spring pins. I love this truck.
On the way up, I had an issue with the drivers side tank filling up with fuel. My gauge kept going up till it said full. I stopped to take a look in the tank and fuel spilled out when i opened the cap! I found (after a great ordeal) that the issue was the feed line from the tank was pinched against the frame. Loosened the elbow to relieve it and they are both leveling fine now. Looks like some moved the tank?
I also noticed a leak from the trans at the cooler output port. It just needed some teflon tape and I took care of that today.
There is a sensor on the drivers side of the motor towards the front leaking some oil. I will address this monday.
One of the tensioner pulleys is squealing which will be fixed too.

Thats about it. I am very happy with the truck. It runs very smooth. Some little things with the interior, but this was a fleet truck and it is in good condition for that. LMT was a great pleasure to do business with. Every individual I spoke with was super professional, courteous, and helpful. They were very apologetic for the repair taking longer than expected and picked up the hotel bill. They do good repair work. The truck was cleaned decently and everything works right. You cant say that about many used truck dealers. The big thing is they make sure you have your ducks in a row before handing over the keys. They also highly recommend a dyno test and guarantee to fix any issues that come up in either the dyno or dot and pay for retest. Luckily I passed and just kept on home. Now its time to go to work and I cant wait.
