I got to the kw at 0755 this morning and it took about 90 minutes before they took it into a bay, but I was done and back in the Lancaster yard at 1115. The fastest I've ever been in and out of a kw shop. Ur right airbag replacement is only an hour job. So hats off to the Kw shop on I-20 in Dallas.

Back in Laredo, As soon as I drop trl next load to miss. Already herein the yard.

Suppost to be 97% here in Laredo. Straight from Winter directly to summer. I guess there's only 2 seasons down here.

Told ya so.

Congrats! My first was a Red Racer like yours. The driver window will be hard to roll up. Use your right hand to pull the window straight in the chanel and use your left to roll the crank.
Other than that, great workhorse. Spent one day in shop in about 90k mile. Even though I like my ProStar, have had about 6 days in shop in 80k. The shops at International are all terrible, that's the difference and our shop doesn't fix as many Pro Stars as they do KW's so you are more likely to get referred to a shop.
For getting home, as soon as you are within 25 miles of the first consignee's dock, stop and send in the "request time off" macro. They shoot for getting you home in 8 days, but being easter, it may work out in your favor.
Remember, you can't send the request until you are within 25 miles of the receiver for the load you are under. And then, plan on 8 days. If I aboslutely must be home by a certain day, then I don't gamble on a future dispatch. For example, I need to be home on the 20th. Rightfully, I would hilite on the 12th, but if I won't be within 25 of the receiver till say the 13th, I would hilite so that I get home early rather than taking a chance on my next dispatch making me late.
Its a pain, but, its a tradeoff for getting decent pay and good miles.
Good Luck!
RRWildblackyonder Thanks this. -
. You can always call fleet mgr if not within 25 miles of delivery and they can put it in the system. I've had to do this twice because like u said. I had dates I had to ne home by.Wildblackyonder Thanks this.
