I got my unemployment. The company has never listed a reason for terminating me. I spoke to someone at YRC who insisted that this is not company policy, a lot of good that does me!

I will post my usf glen moore story soon, its almost as bad as shaggys. But i do know they read this site and if you dont have it set up right they can track your email adress....
-
What?!?
Oh no, no, no. Nobody's tracking anything here. Our members' personal info, such as e-mail addresses are well guarded, and only moderators can see anyone's info other than their own.
So not to worry, have at it. -
I haven't ran into any of those drivers yet, so i don't know much about it, I know US Xpress's policy is that they just buy the company but leave them intact, u can probably expect some auto shift trucks with the Driver Tech units and blindside Camera like US Xpress has as they fade out their original fleet if we purchase a Majority of the company -
Yeah USF isn't seeing any thing other than your public profile. Even if your email address is "allowed" for contact the software emails you from the board, not some one wanting to contact you directly. -
I am not worried that usf can see this because I tell the truth. I have not lied about any part of my story. Do you think that I would have gotten my unemployment if I was lying?
-
Boy, with hundreds of jobs out there you are taking unemployment? Grow up!
-
hundreds of dreadful,dead-end,bottom-feeding employers, and with the rules and regs so messed up...c'mon I thought being a truckdriver was an admirable position that truckers were part of a brotherhood, but I have come to find out that most of todays drivers are whiners. I have to rethink my decision about being a truck driver because no one will stand up for our rights, and I need to decide if I am willing to take on this challenge solo.

shaggy10,
This is still an admirable position and a brotherhood to most of us. Yes, a lot of employers do not treat their drivers properly. That is evident by all of the posts that are written here. Yes some people whine but most have a legitimate #####. As for rights, you can stand alone on your own or join a group that has a backing by some type of a Union. It will give you a voice. The latter is the choice I made and I am happy with it. It works for most but not everyone. Either way, good luck to you.
