That right there is the story of my day. Passing Swift on the right, because I am trying to maintain speed to get up a hill.. since I guess they can't read "Slower Traffic Keep Right"..

Not really no. Not worried about them to be honest.

No. It doesn't bother me when they pass me. Both they and I know the truth about our respective standings.

I just lean WAY back in the ridiculously comfortable seat of my big K Whopper and keep rolling and letting those dollar signs float around in my mind.

driving 70 or faster feels great but i can watch my fuel gauge move at that speed.. doubles at 105k will eat the fuel

lol, that is the one nice thing about being a company driver, I don't have to worry about the fuel.. and they don't seem to either.. the more loads I get, the more they make.. and they are making a killing anyhow.

With all things being equal (and they're not) I have to admit that the feeling you get from passing a string of trucks going up a hill while grossing 100K is definitely a good one.

I pay for my own fuel, so I chalk it up as a personal entertainment expense.

My truck will only do 70 downhill but I haul light loads of furniture so even then I may not see 70.

7.9 mpg since the batteries were replaced a couple months ago though. No BS. I run 65 when I can too.
