Well there is a Whataburger not to far from the Truck Stop on 146. Maybe you can walk there and get a hamburger. Not sure whatelse you can do with a big truck. Sorry they treat you rude. Don't know why they ask for a time to be there just to jerk you around.

 

I appreciate the offer,but i am just goin to wait some more. I am still looking at going back to pulling a tanker for Altom or maybe enterprise or somebody. Just gonna wait it out some more and see what pops up.

 

Oh they are gonna pay me detention or my butt will be gone like a chicken in etheopia!

 

My want to also try out Quality Carriers if you want to haul Tankers or Slay Transport. There are alot of Tanker companiers here in Texas. Wish you the best of luck. Or also another company is Tidewater Transit. Hope that helps.

 

Yep I know those as well, Altom is the only one with a yard in Lufkin, we will see whats the dealio in a few weeks. I might as well stay at jbs a few more weeks to put in a year here an matbe get me a paid week off.

 

I am tired of pulling tankers myself. You get home more but you have to stop at every weight station. They always ask for your paperwork. I am also tired of having to climb on top of a tanker to hook hoses. Also have to open and close dome lid to load and unload. If using a pump. Well anyway hope all that helps. Good luck out there. Also most of them don't pay dention or demerge until after 2 hours.

 

Finally got out of Marshalltown @ 2130 last night after having to have load reworked twice, first time they didn't even take any product off,Mind you I was 600# overgroos, trailer was gone 2 hours they brought it back still 600# overgross, 4 hours later got it 2nd time it was fine, luckily I had plenty of time on this one just had to run all night

 

Yea i ser what your sayin on the tanks. I m used to pulling flatbeds and thats alot of work. Dont know what to do yet.

 

Well sure you will figure it out but tankers are better than flatbed. You could do me to do flatbed. Anyway God will lead you. Are you bored yet? Just wondering. LOL.

 

Yep im tired of watchin the radar! 2 more hrs to unload then hdedhome till tom.
