Picked up in germantown wi and delivered to walmart dc in
Menomonie wi. At the kwik trip in menomonie for the night
Then over to eau claire to reload and relay to sharonville oh.

 

At home, leaving in a few to head up to Owens Corning for shingles and a nice run to Ohio! ALL ABOARD!!

 

Started rolling at 0100 this morning. Drove about 1.75 hours, just about through Cedar Rapids, IA and bang! Blew a drive tire. Limped it at 25mph 8 miles back to TS and now I'm waiting.

 

He reloaded in Conshohocken PA last night, and is headed to Mt Sterling KY for tomorrow am. Roehl wanted him there today, but they stop unloading at 3 so it doesn't look like that will happen.

 

at freightliner in Atlanta...have a pickup at Mead/westvaco...then going to Jax with it.....I had to give up a 34hr reset to get my truck in...but hopefully its worth it....after I am done here i am going to get my load depending on time...then off to ellenwood to get my cracked windshield replaced (the crack is HUGE now...its been growing.... hopefully ellenwood will do a decent job...)

 

In Appleton for the night. Time to get the tire damage repaired. Tire tore out right side turn light on sleeper and broke off fender in front of drive axle.

 

still sitting at frieghtliner in atlanta.....see pictures of the tornados in Dallas...looks like some gnarly weather...a lot of damage....I 20 was hit hard and DFW is shut down for the day....I even seen a pic of a 53 footer about 500 feet in the air

but still sitting at frieghtliner...after that off to mead to grab my load then to ellenwood to get a windshield fixed....

 

looks like I will be spending the night at the ellenwood terminal...my NEW freightliner is leaking Freon in the sleeper....and the dealer is waiting on Freightliner to call them back to see if they are just replacing the compressor or the whole parksmart unit.....so yeah...wonderful....yay me....I feel for anyone in Dallas right now...it has to suck to be schnider all those trailers and trucks destroyed...man alive it was crazy seeing trailers tossed around like leaves...

 

I am at the Towpath rest area at mm 170 on I80eb tonight. Ran 620 miles today. Left myself less than 300 to my consignee which doesnt deliver until 7am on Thursday. I am going to call them and see if I can get in tomorrow being as I can be there probably before 3pm. If not I will just enjoy an easy day. I am hoping they send me home right after I deliver. I could just about make it tomorrow. I know I wont but I could get really close and be home early as hell on Thursday.

Well its time for dinner and Netflix, as usual.
