Well .. heck then why aren't any of them showing on Mac 30 ... Guess, I'll mosey up to the window tomorrow morning before I deliver.

 

Emporia, VA... Found one of the last parking spots here. One of the few times I have been driving past sunset... I hate trying to find parking after dark... Usually I start my day around 3 Am or earlier the farther West I go.

 

Emporia fortunately has that huge open gravel area. If everyone does it right, it's generally one of the few places you can find parking late.

 

After flying to JFK this morning, back home, and finally after 6 years, home with the wife. YEE HAW. We will be home until Friday, then hit the road. She says that our home here is only a place to visit, the truck is the home, and the truck needs to make the payment, so off we go for at least 1 month

 

Still in Rawlins, WY.

Called the shop this morning and was told that my truck was ready.
Headed over there, and while waiting for Swift to call back to pay the bill I went out to the truck to put by stuff back in and do Qcom stuff.

Started the truck and idled for ten minutes, and got another engine warning light.
So back into the shop it went.
This time it was a bad EGR valve. It had stuck open.

They fixed it and I finally got out of the shop at 1800.

Now all I need to do is get this #$$%lemon of a truck back to Phoenix to trade it in.
6 months with this truck, and at least 6 weeks of down time in the shops. And my DM always seems to wonder why my miles are not that great.

In perfect hindsight, it might have been better to take 5 days hometime so you would have been "forced" to turn the pos in.

Laredo going 2300 miles to Puyallup, WA as soon as the load gets across the border this morning.

Moved up from bronze to silver ranking on 3/23 and a week later to gold. Not sure why or how since I haven't even been solo two months and only have 39k miles.

The safety guy here changed my flat tire/bent wheel "accident" to non-preventable and is talking to the safety people in El Paso to get it removed entirely. Way cool beans!

 

Tornado almost took out the Lancaster terminal today and destroyed Schneider's terminal. The Flying J in the neighborhood off I-20, I think exit 470 was also heavily damaged. There's video of the Schneider terminal getting tore up on www.wfaa.com including flying trailers. There were 12 tornadoes out of 5 supercells; they're calling it the worst tornado damage in DFW in 30 years.

Still in Laredo since my load didn't cross the border til this afternoon so I will complete a 34 and go in the morning.

Escaped Laredo this morning ... Spent yesterday afternoon shootn' the breeze with A21CAV ... Sealy, TX heading to TN.

 

Hubby was there and saw the trucks fly. I was shocked when he sent me the pictures with the tornado so close. Stay safe out there!
