Just wanting to get some ideas for meals while living in a truck. Eating at a truck stop 2-3 times a day would be time consuming and expensive. Thanks

You'll probably find that one good meal a day is what you'll get plus a quick donut coffee and snacks.

when I was on my truck I had protein shakes in the morning
sweet N spicy tuna sandwich (the tuna comes in a pouch like, no need of a can opener, its very convenient not hard to prepare)
precooked chicken breast for dinner with microwavable rice & veggies

(all of this is ofc if you have a microwave and fridge on board.)
(plus these meals is healthy as well, keeps you alert longer believe it or not.)

I'd keep some pre-cut raw veggies bagged up and ready to go.

I do lots of protein shakes, fruit, almonds to munch on and pouches of flavored tuna and tyson chicken breast. Truckstop food will kill you and cost way too much. I try and eat a good steak dinner couple times a week. ohh...water and V8 juice..low sodium

There are lots of threads in this forum about that... "Cooking in the Truck" is a good one. Or go to the Health section... Or do a search in this site about diet, health... you will need a lot of time to read it all.

Probably not all that great for you. But, a can of Bush's Beans and 2-3 sliced up hot dogs (I like Nathans brand). Good cheap meal.

I have a cooler and a microwave in the truck.

Been eating my veggies and making some rather interesting mixes with Hamburger helper individual serving packages as well as Idahoan mashed potatoes, minute rice, and then having a Hormel entree with them.

I also have veggies cups, fruit cups and we found some incredible apple and peach crisp desserts last time we went shopping. Hostess fruit pies are good snacks too.

I can't find a link to the peach and apple crisps. But they are very good. It's in individual cups too.

    Just some of the examples.

Yeah, I get some stuff at walmart. Pinching pennies sometimes sucks.

DO NOT get these. They suck.
