Yes the GWB and all the bridges in NY are EZ PASS.....
Sitting in Gary...I don't deliver til tomorrow morning and I am about an hour away...so no worries.....
FYI US 231 isn't bad once you make it through Murfreesboro and Lebanon...its pretty much 2 lane and 55 all the way but it does beat traffic in Crashville...so not too bad...I rescind my former coment...I was tired and cranky as hell from sleeping on the couch in Ellenwood...... Oh and one note..if you are taking 231 north or south in Lebanon you have to make a series of left turns at public square...cause there is a park in the middle of the road...just FYI...
Also I65 north and southbound in Louisville is closed to trucks and you get detoured onto I 64 and I264....and there are DOT all over the place just waiting to ticket every truck...so keep your eyes open... -
I65?? They working on the bridge there now?

sounds like it...they even have a broadcast on CH19 about the detour

OH WOW!!! The new shop manager at Gary must be cracking the whip...I submitted my truck for service...(cracked windshield) and 2 hours later the mechanic was knocking on my door and I was in the shop.....30 minutes later he was done and getting me!!! What the hell is this the same Gary terminal??? I was impressed...

Well that is good to hear. I also have a windshield issue and will be in Gary tomorrow night. Hopefully I will get the same results.

Treefork, you have a good time in the mosh pit tomorrow and good luck because you will need all the luck you can muster to get through there. I am getting ready to fire it up and escape Jersey.

I ran through Gary this afternoon and I needed DEF. I usually get it at the pumps at the TS, but I keep getting routed through Gary. Anyway, the DEF tank in Gary has a hand pump on it now and the procedure is to pump until the DEF flows out all over the ground. Nice. Stupid. The ground is a muddy mess of DEF and SpeedyDry. Oh well. I got enough DEF to get me to a TS to fill it properly. I just didn't want to cause a bigger mess.

In Appleton again tonight. I've had three showers since I left the house Monday morning and two of them have been at the Appleton Terminal....hmmm...
Started in Sterling, IL this morning, then to Northlake, IL to a union warehouse. They took 3 hours to load 18 pallets.
Then off to Watertown, WI where I had to back in from across the street into an inside dock while they stopped traffic. Hit the dock in the darkness perfect the first time without a pull up. I'm sure that won't happen again for months.
Then off to De Pere to pick up my load going back to Elwood, IL in the morning. I love being home on the weekends, but let me tell you that dedicated routes can whip your ###. Four days in the row now that when I've parked for the night I've had less than 30 minutes left on my 14.
