Couldn't they have picked three scales that were just a bit tougher to get around?

Yup! They always find something. I'm going to court to fight 2 tickets; 1 given to driver the other to the company.

got a $390 fine for rear overhang, I told them I could move the cluster back to reduce it but the dummy told me I would be over the 41' bridge spacing here's the kicker I had a 92' pipe on a stretch trailer my bridge spacing was around 70'!!

They shuttered their scales because they didn't pay their bills, all thanks to more compliant truck drivers.:biggrin_2555:

Someone shattered their scales down my way when they roared into the scales and slammed on the breaks, on the scales doing 30 MPH. OMG :biggrin_2555: :biggrin_25521:

Well if you could the faces on the DOT officer, he was ready to kill someone. :biggrin_25510:

AND YES they broke the scales. For some dumb reason they did not see that 4 feet by 8 foot sign next to the truck that said "DRIVE SLOWLY ON TO THE SCALES":biggrin_2556:

The company had to send another driver out to pickup the truck and the load.:biggrin_25513:
