ummm not sure why you chose a stepdeck to try and get away from people lowballing rates as you will find the same thing doing this kind of work. Matter of fact, swift is trying to find hundreds of drivers for their flatbed div and they are paying a whopping 26 cpm to any driver stuipid enough to sign on. And Boyd bros are trying to screw us all by a new intermodal flatbed thing they got going on. Good luck!

Try surviving on $1.55 per mile all miles. By the time you pay for fuel, repairs, loan and insurance there is nothing left over.

Yes, I've seen my share of wonderboys flippin around, smokin the spreads without a care in the world
Mommas_money_maker Thanks this. -
Still didnt answer my question. You think that rate isnt out here in the flatbed/stepdeck world, better think again. Every tom, dick and harry is coming to flatbedding and hauling 1.50 like there;s no tomorrow because they dont know and dont care

I get dollar fifty, load pay good, I be back home in Russia in no time. I do good

$1.50 Is pathetic. An O/O who accept rates like that deserve what they get. I'm wasting my time on here because all I'm talking to is bottom feeders.
-
With exception to aiwiron I'm hearing a lot of ########. If your accepting rates less than $2 per mile your only dragging this industry to its doom.

SHC go back to Russia!!! Our standards of living are much higher here and if that was not true you would be back on your home country.
LSAgentOZR and SHC Thank this. -
Calm down, he's being sarcastic.
