another nationwide menace that im now already starting to see is the renticus rvicus. Common varieties of this fiend is el monte rv and cruise america. Keep your eyes on these they're prone to bad judgements in driving and should be considered dangerous.

Plus those rental RVers are driving it like a car. Since they're not used to it they're also not used to holding their lane so be careful when passing them.

I have driven motor homes for delivery and most of the people who drive them have no clue as to what happens just before a truck nears the motor home.

There is a suction and it pulls the rv toward the truck lane. Most noticed because these things are very light compared to a truck.

:biggrin_2559: So true! The only good thing about those rv'ers is that most are easy to pass. Seems like most are governed at 63 mph.

Greyhound drivers have to be careful about which truck stops or restraunts they pull into, we are 86ed from a lot of places and some even call the police on us.

What I do not understand is why will a truck stop have only one cashier working at 6pm?

    AZS Thanks this.

On two seperate visits to the flying j in bakersfield off ca99 once on Friday the second was Saturday on my way back south there were tour busses full of people and they must have a special tourstop to see trucks cause these crazy fools were all over the place taking pictures of the trucks coming in leaving fueling. Try to drive out and they were all in the way what a nusance.

I run lots of Midwest, the Loves all have buses stopping at pretty much any hour, just the ones with fast food other than or in addition to Subway. It seems to be company policy of the Megabus line.

You get there before, it's good, after, the restaurant's employees act like they are in shock, the food is no longer fast and the service is usually very slow. The hot food in the C-store gets depleted if there is any of that, too.

If I'm in a hurry and need fuel, that's all I usually get.
