They need their Big Girl Panties...or a dose of Military Life. You sleep whenever you can, however you can get it.

Best fix I found was becoming one of those jack*** locals that's home daily lol.
I drive nights but for the record if I do stop in a rest area I do my best to keep it quiet and with no jakes on,been on the other side and didn't like it.

I am home every evening so I only really stop around other trucks is at lunch time. If I notice the curtains closed on a rig or one that is shut off I either park a ways away or I shut down. I very rarely hit truck stops but frequent Royal Farms and the like.

At a TS; when you see a truck parked with 'trailer out'; it's not because he/she can't back up. Wonder why they would do that???? Hummmm...... let me see...... Nope can't figure it out.

    skellr Thanks this.

Only problem is most times you get a few doing the same thing so it defeats the purpose.

I leave my FLATBED turned off as a courtesy to those around me :)

    I worked oil field operating a p/u & l/d machine.

Slept in the front seat while relieved. The front end would raise then drop 2 or 3 feet depending on the weight of the pipe we had.

And I slept like a baby.

But I never made it a point to be a deliberate ### in the truck stop parking lot, like folks that sell panties.
