Depending on how much you run, figure on $9-1200 weekly GROSS.
-
Hmm, the $900 seems a bit high, unless you really meant $9.00
I've been seeing people posting weekly income as low as $600 gross.
-
That's just it I talk to guys at the truck stops and they tell me they work for xyz trucking and they make $7-850 a week and stay out 3-4weeks at a time that's why I'm asking if that's about right?
-
The drivers making money are not sitting around at the truckstop shooting the breeze, they are out there running.MNdriver Thanks this.

Also depends on what company you driver for or lease onto......
-
Depending on what time of year it is and freight lanes, running in the winter time after taxes was 700.00 after taxes. Spring to early winter it would be 900-1500 per week after taxes, all depended upon the season and locations. Flat and step-deck.
I brought more than just a seat warmer attitude, had my own brokers and places to load.
As a company driver I never pulled less than 700.00 a week after all deductions. -
I don't know how you guys stay out for weeks for that kind of money. My hat is off to you.
-
Weeks? Some of us stay out for MONTHS!
aiwiron Thanks this. -
Off season road time was 2-3 weeks maximum on the road and when the freight was rolling good 6 weeks max, when a lane and freight opened up you had to roll with it or just not try.
What I posted was on the low side of all seasons, sometimes the sweet spot would hit and have back hauls and extra pay for OD loads with layover pay.
When I hauled OD my pay went up quite a bit, most loads were 18' wide and moved slow but little weight. Not a expert or anything but if someone wants me to sweat it out they have to pay me well, it takes a toll on a driver as everyone knows just being out but ad all the little things up and the pay had better be good.
