You can have a rider from day one. My SO is in the truck right now.
-
is there an age limit on there rider policy?
-
Hmmm...that one I dont know. Probably should call Denzel on that one.
-
Yes they do! -
Oh how I miss my scale prepass......they wont activate it until I get plates on my new truck.....at least the EZPass worked on all of the toll roads on our last trip in Maryland/PA/NJ...
-
Finally got our license plates for our new tractor and the E-ZPass and PrePass are up and running!!! Woo Hoo!!!
Sitting in Elkton Maryland for the night waiting to deliver a load from Dinuba CA in the morning. Gottal love these 3K mile loads!! -
Great company. The regional dispatch takes a little getting used to, but great miles and equipment. I recently had an off-job-injury and didn't know if I was going to have surgery. I was little worried I would have to turn the truck in and resign, but I opted to not have the knee surgery for now. If the truck sits for more than two weeks, on anything other than paid vacation, you get terminated. But that's about the same for any company. Or if you've been there for more than a year you would qualify for FMLA and you would not get terminated in that scenario. But I've only been there about 7 months now.
I've worked for many companies, large and small, and this is one of the best. It's not a "good ole days" atmosphere though. You're pretty much on your own. You take care of business, and they'll take care of you. -
I just thought I would echo what the others are saying. I have worked for many different companies in the years but this one is certainly the best. I have no complaints at all. They have good equipment, they give me good long runs. They tell me where and when to load , where and when to unload, and other than that they leave me alone to do my job. They are certainly available if I have a question and I have no problem getting responses from them.
Holland does take a no nonsense approach to business but if you want to work and don't want to whine and complain this would be a good place for you. -
I'll double post this....
What are your miles like?
You are long haul not regional?
How much detention time do you have? Detention pay?
Anyone here looked at lease program here?
Home time? how does that work for you and how much?
And yes, I spoke with Kent today. Just didn't ask him these questions.
