Covenant Transport

My. wife and I ran team with them in the mid-90's. We did quite well, and all was good until I got hurt, and then they wanted nothing to do with us. I harbor no ill-will though, that's typical of most of the bigs. We made a comfortable enough living to pay for our first house out-right, and they treated us like gold.
The fact that we never complained and ran our ##### off served us well I think.

 

i just received my pre-hire letter from them. glad i didnt call them back yet!

 

Has anyone heard anything good or bad about H.O Wolding out of Wisconsin? Anything would be helpful. i paid out of pocket for school and graduate in a few weeks and the recruiters are already calling. I really dont know anything of this company.

I booked tons of loads with them in the mid and late '90s. Very cheap rates. Many of their drivers were real "winners". Only time I've ever called the police and had someone thrown off the property was with a Covenant driver... all over them throwing a fit for not being loaded within 5 minutes of arriving. Never used them after that... and the famous "To Catch A Predator" segment certainly didn't help their image either

That was pretty much my plan. Do at least 6mos and move on if they really treat me as bad as i,m reading here. I,ve been a hard worker all my life and will make it just about anywhere as long as i,m treated fairly.
