Roehl Driver Check In

Well, I am sitting in Bloomington Il. At the lovely Pilot truck stop. 34 hours to go. Nice to meet some of you guys, Tank, up in Gary. Be safe and remember, save the long hauls for me. Lol. Snap..

 

Snap do you like Roehl so far how are you doing on miles and what fleet r u on. I'm supposed to start school on june 11th

 

I'm on National Refridgerated. Stay out about 3 to 4 weeks at a crack. Ya, I do like it . They give me good long runs, and that helps, I like to drive. So far over all, I give it a 9.

 

I hope all goes well for you In school. Watch out for a instructor named Jason. Big tall guy. You can't miss him. I think he's a ex boxer or something. No Only kidding.. The school is great . Have fun. And remember to get out and look. Or they'll throw stuff under your tires. Lol..

 

Ya. He's a good guy and a great teacher. And he has a great sence of humor.

 

Still haven't met you yet Treefork. Think I'm going to Marshfield next week sometime to get truck serviced. Only has 680.000 on it. I hope they don't take it. I finally have it running good, and most of the bugs worked out. Lol

 

At the TA in Hudson, WI tonight. Onward to Green Bay with a stop over at the Mother Ship tomorrow for a couple of, hopefully, quick repairs. Need my inverter replaced and my steer tires balanced.

I'm running 79,760 gross weight so it'll be slow going tomorrow.

 

Still home and still loving it. I won't lie, I do miss being out on the road, but I don't miss all the BS that went with it. Not to mention the time with my wife and kids has been great. I am working two part time jobs, and have replaced what I was making on the road, with better heath insurance. I even still get to drive alittle, even if it is a transit bus from Buffalo back to Bradford.
