I have seen threads on the worst of the worst etc. Just thought that I'd start a thread about the following :

    1. Good Brokers
    2. Good Rates
    3. Good credit rating / Pay cycle

Base Rules so we can keep it simple .

    1. Name
    2. Rates
    3. Credit
    4. Good experience / Bad

Possibly this can be used as a guide to help others make connections . As I've rumbled through the others it's confusing sometimes to get good info . Let's try to keep this one on topic to be used as a guide to others

You're asking me to give up my best paying loads? I wonder why nobody has ever thought to ask this before...

If you subscribe to certain load boards, they give credit rating and scores and lot more information on the brokers. Mostly accruate and constantly updated. This is probably how most people pulling broker loads judge brokers.

Most well seasoned O/O's deal with the same brokers, usually just use one or two every time. They know each other and TRUST each other. They call and never really look at a "load board". Remember, brokers can "broker" freight from anywhere using phones. While we're on the subject, why not look into brokering as a sideline, then you would "broker" your own loads and make more $$$. I've seen a couple guys who do seminars and fill you in on how to do this. Any yocal can become a broker. Some large brokers that also have trucking facilities: Riley Whitle out of Cincinniti and R.E. Garrison out of Cullman, Al. Oh, mustant forget Landstar/Mercer. Yeah, I know, Landstar doesn't own trailers.

.........O.K. I stopped laughing now....Listen this message board is cool to give and receive general information and sometimes help people out, but we are all still independent operators, why in the world would you pass along important information to the competition?

I noticed that you posted a question but didn't start it off like....Hey everytime I am in Toledo, Oh I call Juicy Jenny and get a load to Kansas City, Mo, it pays $3.75 and her number is 419-555-1212 you can get up to 50% when you load and after you drop you fax your bill and get the remaining money in 5 days. They load out 4x per week and have never had a problem....get my point?

It's kinda like the Cleveland Browns sending the Pittsburgh Steelers their playbook a week before the game, even though they play like it they actually don't....but after the game I'm quite sure some of the players go out to dinner

It's o.k. I understand that you are a Marine (that's an attempt at humor I myself was U.S. Army 1992-1996)

"WHO" you're dealing with?...... Noooooo..... "WHO" you're dealing with, is irrelevant....... It's "WHAT" you're dealing with, that is infinitely more important to understand.
