    Clean.... That's my truck.

Don't expect that with your first Schneider truck. I worked for them for a few years and they need to start charging some of their drivers for the filth they leave behind.

They tried to put me in one that smelled like piss. Actually it was piss, I had a driver bragging to me that he had just dropped on off one that he spilled a gallon piss jug in and he was glad to be out of it. He was out of a job when I was through with him.

I drive a pete with a coffin sleeper or a 550 hp single axle day cab when I'm not stuck in the office.

2011 Cascadia, grey. I'm a solo in a team truck. Problem is, it goes away in two weeks, when I go for hometime in Florida.

The truck I have belongs in California. So I'll be slated to go there before I go home.

I've driven new and old, its not that great having a new truck, when you get a new truck honchos will be watching it for scratches, dents, and even bug splatters, anything happens to that truck you'll hear about it...
Get an older one, get in clean it up, get some air fresheners, and make it your own..
Get some time under you and you'll get a new one...
Think about like this, is your car your driving new or used ??
If it was used, did you make it your own ??
    Same as a truck...
I look at it like this
as long as it runs down the road, and Its making me a pay check
    who cares....

Mine is a POS with 754000 miles on it. the cb power connection does not work, the front end shakes at 45 mph, (it needs an alignment), headlights suck ( I use highbeams and nobody even bright lights me).front bumper is barely hanging on breaks are starting to squeal, cb antennas are ripped off. There is more on the list but it is in the truck. Talked to a mechanic in St Louis and he said they wont even bother fixing any of it becuase it is due to be taken out of service in a few months. At least the bunk heater and the a/c works.

I drove nothing but kenworths for most of my career then I came to a mega carrier and was given an 07 cetury condo it was actually a good running and comfortable truck they traded it at 475000 miles and gave me a new prostar with the forward looking radar for collision avoidance not as much room but very quiet and driver friendly I run regional dedicated anyways get home during the week and have weekends off . I also make much more money driving a throw away truck than when I was driving a kenworth . My company trades their trucks at 500000 so its not like your ever driving a worn out piece of junk . Plus you could not fit a w900 in to the places I deliver doing 90 degree blindside backs at half our stores .
