Anyone know anything about the Albuquerque NM dedicated Family Dollar route? Or any other Family Dollar routes, like what they entail, what they pay when you are just starting out and do they keep you busy? I've heard you unload the trucks by hand is that right?

Best pay dedicated almost every driver in fd and gd makes 1k+ a week... Not the best thing to do as a rookie

I'm pretty sure you're thinking of just Dollar General.
Its a lot harder to turn $1k/week when it takes you 6-8 hours to unload a trailer vs 2 to swap out rolltainers unless you falsify your logs and have stamina unbecoming of the majority of truckers. -
So is it true that you are reasonable for the unloading when you are on the Family Dollar account? Is it individual boxes that you have to break down by hand or pallets that you just have to pull off the truck?

On family dollar, it is all floor loaded, and you pull it all off the truck using a set of worn out rollers and whatever system you can rig up to try and keep packages from falling off of them.
On dollar general, everything is loaded onto large carts called rolltainers. You pull them back onto a liftgate, give them to the customer, then load the trailer back up with their empty rolltainers from the last shipment.
Dollar general is much more efficient until you get hasty and tip over a rolltainer. Then you're essentially on family dollar for half an hour loading the crap back onto the rolltainer.
The pay rates are similar between the two accounts, though it varies by region. You tell me which one sounds like the account you can make money on. -
Boy all this sounded great when the recruiter showed up at the truck driving school. Now its sounding like a pain in the butt. Thanks.
