Henderson's new yard is in Caseyville but their payroll office is still in Salem, IL so the trucks still say Salem on the door. It is Earl Henderson out of Salem you're thinking of. I work here. I like it. But I'm on a dedicated run and am home every night so I'm sure I'd like working for anyone who has this account. Can't give much info on the OTR guys. I know they are scaling back the lease purchase deal. I go to the yard about three times a year to get truck serviced so I've not talked to anyone recently. We are supposed to get a bunch of new trucks in the next couple months so business for them must be ok, but no idea how other drivers are faring.
txtailgator and phylobedo Thank this. -
Is Caseyville near E. St. Louis ? I had heard Henderson moved over there. BTW, it's E.L. Henderson trucking (Earl Henderson). Pride thru performance or whatever it says on the trailers.

I used to work for Hays Trucking/ Henderson Trucking. I liked working for them. This was 11 years ago. John Kaburick bought out Les Hays from Carlinville Illinois, and Leon Henderson and kept the names. This was when John ran things. He was a good guy to work for. He got caught stealing diesel fuel, and was arrested, but he was always honest with me. I got all the miles I wanted out of them. They got me home when I wanted and off when I needed. I understand now that John has retired and let his son take over [Josh Kaburick] that things arent the same. The drivers call Josh [Hitler]. I never worked for Josh so I dont know. I quit due to an argument with Jack Camden. He thought he owned the place. I would drive for Henderson again based on my past experience.

Earl Henderson Trucking out of Caseyville, IL. I worked for them for about 5 months last year. I had a good experience with them. The people were good to me. They ran me as hard as I wanted and got me time off when I asked. I quit to take a local job in California but, I would work for them again if i went back over the road. I still keep in touch with them.
Along with the OTR routes, they have a dedicated route from Illinois to Kingman, AZ and then from Kingman, AZ to Lathrop, CA. They have also just started a flatbed or heavy equipment division but, mostly they run refrigerated units. I didn't have any problems with their equipment as I drove a 2012 Freightliner Cascadia. Of course, there are always the unlucky ones who have equipment problems.phylobedo Thanks this. -
I talked to some of their drivers a while back they said they did good running teams but not as well solo. I don't know. Let us know what's up
