The AARP? Well that's all I need to know! Tough to respond about the AARP without going political, but it's a bunch of you know what......

That says he upgraded his CDL, probably added tanker and/or hazmat. That means he probably had experience. It doesn't say when this occurred. From what I've read the salaries for drivers in the oil fields are going down. There's a lot of guys showing up there looking for work.

I'm sure all the drivers making 25-30k on this board will give this guy a tip on how to make 6 figures.

I made 6 figures driving a tour bus, but I was also the tour manager, security, flight dept manager, car washer, dog walker....... It wasn't bad if you didn't mind not have a life and being on call 24 hours a day.

Driving a truck with 2 years experience, not being an O/O and making 6 figures, good luck.

    sure, its possible.

    figure 1) long hours
figure 2) less then min. wage when you break it down
    figure 3) big expenses
figure 4) away from home (of OTR)
    figure 5) alot of waiting
figure 6) you look at your paycheck scratching your head.

there you go, 6 figure income. :)
