Like the title says am looking to be more independent and am thinking of this kind of method to fill out rate confirmations and send them back.

Any body have one they like/ don't like? Also what printer/scanner is a good one for a truck? Would like it to be small. I already have a Windows 7 laptop with Verizon Wireless aircard, so got that covered.

    Thanks,

Personaly I did not like Efax so much. (mind you its been atleast 7 years since I used it). And it might have been becouse I did not use it very often so the cost did not seem worth it to me and I cancelled. Since then I have just started using emails instead. The picture quality is better, you dont get all the hastles of faxes, And you dont have to pay an xtra fee for it.

With that said I am currently running a cheapo wallmart scanner/printer combo. It fits nicly in the cubbord above my microwave. I used to have a very nice scanner that was the size of a notebook. but when vista came out there where no drivers for it. And they dont make those small scanners anymore (they do make small portable ones, but those have problems when scanning stuff with staples in them). So I am stuck with the larger scanner printer combo.

i use ringcentral. and a cheap HP printer/scanner from bestbuy.

quality is every bit as good as kinkos.

ringcentral has software to download that is very easy to use.

    i didn't like efax either.

Scanner Pro for iPhone. Best $8 I've ever spent. Scan and send right from the phone. That and a wireless printer. Print right from the phone. Fax is so obsolete.
