ok i am a full figured over weight lady, i work for jbs and have for over two years. i passed the ergo test and my re sert with no issues. i don't see where the ergo is harder for a woman than a man. i am in my mid 40's am over weight and have done everything jbs requires of a driver to be able to do. so what gives. you are rejected because of something you could not complete and its jbs's fault. the test is the same for a man or a woman. when i took the test two others in my class stood next to me and did the same test at the same time. side by side. the other two were men. one was sent home when we were done. why because he could not complete the ergo test. he was several years younger then either myself or my partner he was also about 50lbs light then myself. so before you take what is said on here as gospel think about what they are trying to cover up. i have nothing to hide here at jbs. and any one who knows me, knows that i do not surgar coat a thing. but this bit about the ergo is designed to be harder on a female than a male is bs. it is designed to save them money on future workmans comp cases and if it does by weeding out the ones whom cant keep their blood pressure down, can pick up a single box of meet or push a pallet on a pallet jack or pull themselves in and out of the truck without collaps then so be it.

I personally think they should leave it alone. Getting a whole bunch of new people in messing things up worse is not good. Just from my 2years. It's getting better, but you will always have lazy dispatchers and planners who don't want to do their job. Just as you will have lazy drivers who don't want to do their job either.

I think i will form my own opinion of JBS. I tend to make things work in my favor since i like to look at the positive and when it comes to negative i will try to remember it and see if there is a way to it work in my favor. The people that are so negative on here seem to be working for other companies now. I wonder why? Couldn't hack it when things did not go the way they wanted? There will always be ups and downs with any company. None are gods. In the meantime i will get there, get through all the training, documentation, and whatever is necessary to get me going so i can get rolling on my own.

That is not a bad place to live driving over here. I just think you will get frustrated if you can't get home every 2 weeks. We have the freight going thru there, but again with this company your money will look real funny trying to get home every 2 weeks, but if you come in already knowing that. You shouldn't have a problem. But I'd suggest another carrier. We have a lot of lazy fleet managers and they will get frustrated trying to get u home every 2 weeks.
