Right now the phase 1 training time is 14,000 miles (total truck miles). You can knock that out in about 3.5 weeks (safely). If you do decide to goto England don't tell them right away you don't want to lease. Tell them your undecided and after your phase 2 go company team.

allen, I'm guessing you came to this forum for much the same reason I did..advise. Listen to what these guys are saying. I asked the quick question you did and got hammered too. There's a reason you asked the question though,it's because you had an uneasy feeling to begin with, when in doubt follow your gut and heed the warnings. If you keep digging you'll read more bad about CRE than just the L/O deals.
I gave a brief history of myself above, in it I explained that I left an industry.I did that because of companies that operated in very morally and ethically ,unacceptable ways. They have destroyed that industry in my neck of the woods. The only thing that enlightens me is watching them squirm now, because of what they did, drive the price down.
CRE does the same thing with these programs, but they're not squirming.Reason, they get you in a truck with some guy that did the lease with, and they feed you scraps while you learn, then it appears in alot of cases they find a way to ditch you after they have sucked you dry. Then move on to the next guy,it's a numbers game for them,it appears.
I've got 15 years +/- to drive. If for no other reason than to do your part to protect the industry from these vultures, that WILL ruin it or damage it,go someplace else. I'm not a Trucker yet,but I will be,I'm choosing a side NOW, you do the same. Sorry for the long post, keep reading follow LSAgentOZR advise. Just remember ...If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck......

Has anyone ever wondered with all the lease operators running around & none of the trucks say leased to?...

If that doesn't set alarm bells..I don't know what will?

It appears that it's not a lease... It's a truck rental...

    LSAgentOZR Thanks this.
