First day on the e-log system.
(monotone)Yay.
I had to sacrifice an on time delivery because Rockwall locked the gate access for my truck until I got converted over to e-logs, which took almost all day. I got over to the customer with the hope that I could wait for my morning appointment nearby and bump the dock while still logging off duty and then completing my break while getting unloaded. No such luck. I went over to the Shell station a mile up the road and shut down. At the top of my mind was the haunting thought "Anything over fifteen miles per hour kicks you onto the drive line". I got up at 6 am, mulled it over, decided there was no way I was crawling down a mile of a 50 mph street at 15 mph, said "Screw it." and crawled back to sleep.

To the PRIME driver, do you consider 53 or 55mph on the highway to be safe when. Most the world goes atleast 65.
-
Obvious troll tactic is obvious. This book is played out. The "stone in the stream" method has not been proven to be unsafe, and there is always going to be someone faster or slower than you.silenteagle Thanks this.

Welp. I'm calling it a day. Weekend dispatch is wasting my time, and even with elogs, they still can't figure out that no means no.
Or that I'm an IC. -

Troll I think not, when traffic is bumper to to bumper on 81 in va for 3 miles trying to pass a prime going 55 its a problem, but what would you know your going just as slow to "save fuel". Illl blow by you at 75 gettin 7.5mpg anyday of the week.
-
58 when I can. 68 when I wanna. So guess again with that "What do you know?". Well apparently, how to type proper English for one.
I'll enjoy my peace of mind and my 7.5 to 8 mpg driving at an easy pace. You keep enjoying your mad speed. Maybe it won't put you in a ditch somewhere one day. And it's not the Prime driver's fault the guy next to him is a thousand pounds heavier and wants to pass him at 1.5 mph faster. -
True BUT, the Prime guy, OR any other getting passed.... could slow down a bit and let the guy get by. Thats called courtesy.
-
Hooray for you. Now you are the I81 police telling everyone how to drive? You must be a supertrucker......
-
isnt that another thread u must be a super trucker if..................u can get 7.5 mpg at 75 mph i cou;dnt get 7 pulling thru PA today of course I was 79700 with only half fuel tanks if only i was a supertrucker
silenteagle Thanks this.
