Do you get Nickel and Dimed?

If they have a good story and are honest with me that they'll buy alcohol with it, ill give them a few dollars lol.

I hate they people who lie and say their gonna go get something to eat then buy beer instead. So if their honest, I don't mind. Lol

I had a couple come up to me last weekend at a toll plaza as I was walking out of the service area. They rolled up in their car on the backroad(employee entrance), asked for gas money for about an hour & then left...in their car that supposedly had no gas.

I told them no btw & that I had seen them come in from the truck. They moved on to the next person they saw.

 

Had a guy come up to the truck a the Petro in Jackson,MS one morning asked for money to get something to eat.I stepped in the truck got a can of Viennas and Beanie weanies and crackers.The guy cussed me and walked off.Guess he wasn't really hungry.

 

I love Vienna. I got 6 cans of the BBQ ones in my truck lol. I stopped at a Walmart, they were on sale for 0.24/can. I bought 12 cans and some french bread. Made a good sandwich with those and some cheddar pringles lol

I might have spent $4 on something that will make me 3-4 meals.

I just tell them I just spent my last dollar to put fuel in my truck to get the load delivered so I could get paid.

That or I just ignore them.

 

#### now I'm craving those nasty things. I gotta find a Walmart tomorrow.

 

Had a guy ask me for cash a few weeks ago in Florida, He stated that he had just got out of Jail that week and was Hitching his way North to get as far away from Florida as possible. I started laughing and told him that he was one panhandler that I believed and gave him 5 bucks.

 

I haven't been asked for money lately, but I've been getting asked for rides a lot all of a sudden. One asked where I was going and I said Salt Lake City. She then asked where that was. Do they teach anything these days?
