Flint is based out of estevan here, I don't know if they run vac trucks... At that rate they wouldn't find drivers for them if they did!

All the companies here pay vac drivers by commission. There have to be close to 15 around this area and the 25% commission is still upwards of 40 an hour. I think newalta Is the only salary and they only do big jobs for the company itself.

hi everyone! i have read the entire thread, and i want to say this is a wonderful thread for trucker info. Does anyone know companies recruiting at the moment, for class 3 drvs. i know companies like FLINT, REAS, BJ, Nitrogen & northwell have been mentioned, but i am looking to maximise my potential. can anyone point me in the best direction to go concerning any of these companies. much appreciated

There are opportunities around Edmonton for a class 3. What I would suggest is do a lot of research about the companies you mentioned. You mentioned about reaching your potential, but it's hard to know what your potential is. When you know tell us what you want to do and we'll suggest companies.

i am looking to move to edmonton by end of June, so that wld be my base. i currently reside in ontario. however by potential i mean make the most $$$ with a class 3 license. am more interested interested in oil patch trucking, which i think is where the money is.
