Robertson, AL. YeeHaw. My mpg got up to 6.0 today. The desk at the Petro said that I might have the lower section of the filter plugged. Did not have an extra 3 hours to sit around and wait for them. PPLAN already for the day, pick up in Mobile and take to Odessa for Wednesday. For what I thought was going to be a wasted week, turned out to almost 3k.

There should be a way for the brainy IT people to figure out a way to take the O/O's out of the Plus 1 system, but that would probably be just too much work for them. I would like to see if that Plus 1 could be added to the ongoing law suit, since in effect, it is making us employees, not independent.

Have you noticed that since this has started, there has not been one survey asking the drivers what they think.

yessss.....I keep asking to let me opt out fxxxers! I hate the rush, rush mentality of it,when i was training I was always told to take your time and plan correctly, including getting a trl, plan you overnight stay, literally planned for 1700 at 1657 and the dm pod thing (whatever!) always says if you cant make pu and del then decline...like i said before could do that all day long....oh geez...I think I just dropped a a frickin' cow out of my butt right now!....Dr,Dr...lol:biggrin_25510:

Got a pplan picking up at 1200. Punched it in to my GPS and I had a 10 minute window to get there.
Accepted the pplan and headed out.

Got to the shipper and was told that the load was just picked up by another driver.

So I call my DM and am told perhaps it was double-booked.

Turns out that I made a little mistake, as my load does not pick up until tomorrow at 1200.
I looked at the time of PU, but not the date - wrongly assuming it was today.
I guess I am just too used to Plus-1 giving me loads that are too very tight on time.

    Oh well.

At least I have a load that will get me my home time.

Although, the delivery window is only until 1830 and the load is a live load that picks up at 1200 - and the delivery is nearly 300 miles away.
It will be very tight, especially so if the load takes more than an hour.

    Mac 22, here I come.

Delivered this morning in Tacoma and currently doing some R&R at the Sumner terminal. Heading out later to pick up a load at a Swift drop yard in USK WA heading to Calgary AB. Will be my first trip to Canada so wish me luck...

When I took a load of paper to the mill drop yard a month or so ago I saw a moose. Really cool. The guys there said there are moose and elk all over so drive careful. I would hate to hit one of those.
