I know sterling trucks are discontinued and my common sense tells me it would be hard to get parts for this truck. Can someone confirm if this would be the case or not? Thanks in advance.

K100s have been discontined for the better part of a decade, and the VT-903 wasn't offered in on highway tractors at any point since I've been born, but I still find parts for both, even if the dealer no longer carries them.

I wouldn't worry as long as freightliner dealers still list sterling on their signs next to western star. Can't hurt to carry a spare set of filters and belts, though.

Most of the interior parts were made by Ford, mine had a mercedes engine. I would think you could go direct to those companies and find parts. Most Ford dealers have a lookup system that can track a part down anywhere in the country. I would think Mercedes would have a similar system, prob a world wide search with it. It will probably be 10 years or more before parts become really hard to find.
