So if every one "knows this" why doesn't someone turn them in?CAT specifically tells you to call them so they can appear in court on your behalf. Why not take them up on it?

See sounds like another of those white sheet stories to me. There are avenues to prosecute a situation as retold utilize it.

I remember white crosses, black beauties and yellow jackets. Do you remember them?

You all are just focusing on the bad and think all are alike. Profiling!! We lost two good leo's posting because of that. Of course it's not a perfect system. Do you know any gov't program that is? I know many fly by night companies that are in intervention now because of it. So there is some good coming from it.

Look, the LEO's were posting on a thread that was devoted to stupid things they see when working/enforcing with truck drivers.

I'm sure I wasn't the only one to take offence to some of that as well. Heck, I likely have more formal education that most DOT officers... But they seem to 'profile' us all into being the stupid trucker.

With this said, how the 'system' going to ever change as a whole, if everyone always snickers at the stupid things truckers do... Then, when it is pointed out that the DOT many times, tries to enforce regs on equipment that have no clue how to operate, much less understand(and why should they, they don't use it daily). The DOT leaves the forum because they may feel disrespected or hurt? Well, maybe they now know ever to slightly, what it's like to walk in a trucker shoes.

The fly by night comapnies... days were always numbered even in the old system.

Formal education does not denote intelligence.

Most peole have no clue how to raise a disease free protien source. Sure don't see a whole lot of people demanding an end to the USDA. Most have no clue how their drug addictions (though prescribed) effect changes in their body. Doesn't stop them from taking them huh?

Their are rules to this career. Reasonable and sane people have no problem with their enforcement or tracking of failures. There are some anal reg's. However your job is to know them, and be in compliance of them. If your in compliance stand your ground when cited for not being( not like the zealot creating the drama).

Most people don't understand food they buy at the store approved for consumption by the USDA is so pumped full of steriods and antibiotics that it's a wonder we can even survive on it. Ignorance is bliss in a lot of cases. If people only knew.

Reasonable and sane people have a problem, when due process of the law is violated.

If I'm 'cited' with a warning there is NO way to stand my ground other than use DataQ in which the accuser is the sole judge and arbiter of the said disagreement.

What on earth is sane and reasonable about that?
