So. That many that have failed should be interpreted as that it's not easy to be accomplished and that only people who are dedicated and determined to succeed need to be the only ones who lease.

What's the use? If you post a copy of one of your statements with all the personal information blurred out, how are you gonna prove it's yours?

I highly doubt you will change any opinions unless you give out as much information as possible, which I don't think I have to tell you, is not recommended.

I just have to throw my $.02 in on this. I applied to them and got an email to call to talk to a recruiter. So I did, she told me that I could go to one of the 10 day orentations and then they would determine where I would go from there. I have a CDL with all endorsements already but no OTR experience. She said that I would probably go to the refresher class and it costs like five hundred or so (I stoped really even paying attention after the 10 days and then maybe I would get started and the "processing fee" I would have to pay as soon as I got there). I asked why I would have to pay for the class if they were highering me, the response is it is just standard and they could take it out of my paychecks till it was payed off. While I was with a trainer I would make like 150 or 200 a week till I moved on with my training. Then later on I would get .25 a mile.

Since when do you have to pay to get hired? Why do You have to pay to get trained by them to work for them? Why .25 a mile after a month or so of 150 a week and be treated like a Pice of ####?

sounds to me that they want you to quit after a month or two so they don't have to pay you anything.

These people that keep trying to justify these fleece scams are unbelieveable!!....

Why would anyone pay what these co's are charging for balloon payment of in excess of $50k for a 4 or 5 yr old truck that's beat down to nothing. After these lease payments and balloon payment you'll end up paying somewhere in the neighborhood of $160k for truck that didn't even cost new $125k..

Talk about sucker stamped on foreheads..:biggrin_2559:

sup fellas, dont post much here just been doing some reading and i have been thinking of appliying at CR but reading all this bad talk about them im not so sure now, but i do have some questions. im new at trucking and trying to get into the industry and the reason im looking at CR is becuase they train and give me a job after im done! and i really dont have money to pay for trucking shcool and they also have a training facility not too far from where i live (calif.) thats what i like. so would it be so bad to apply with them and get trained by them and just be a company driver for the year just to pay off their training?? im willing and ready to tuff it out if i have to :). i know i wont be making tons of cash my first year , i just wanna get trained and not have to go to another state just for training like i said i have no money to do that just looking for trainng and job and it seems like CR and SWIFT do that but i have to go to phoenix for swift but i guess thats ok.. just looking for some advice and im NOT looking to lease anything rite now! just wanna be a company driver somewhere and get some experience so i can go somewhere better. thanx guys
