Either that or an update..or trying to "save" money.....There have been some really strange routes coming out the last few weeks....

in sharonville tonight.....got a preplan to pick up at 0700 60 miles south to deliver to dekalb at 1700 tomorrow too...the problem was when i recieved the load plan the earliest I could pick up was 11 am..:biggrin_2556: with the same delivery time:biggrin_25523:.... the problem : I would have to average 55 MPH just to make it by 1800...and my route includes US 27 in and out of KY cause the city is on US 27...and I have to get fuel....I let my FM know and he said they would take me as soon as I got to the cons....I told him to remember I only have a 60 MPH truck and can't make that time in anyway....

they think less miles in the route the more fuel they save....:biggrin_25526: but the computer does not take in account all the starting and stopping at stoplights..traffic...and crappy roads....so meh:biggrin_25522:

I tried that argument when I dispatched there. I didn't get too far, but they did change the numbers they used for how much fuel was spent stopping and starting.

Or at least that's how I remember it, it probably was totally different than that. My perception of reality may be different than actual reality.

At the Appleton Terminal for the night. Onward to University Park, IL in the morning to drop this loaded trailer and pick up a preload headed to Ann Arbor, MI. I might be able to swing through the house tomorrow for dinner.

In Gary, new student in the morning. Got blitzed at the fuel island for truck inventory police. :) only had to give up some extra bungees and some coil racks.

Got checked in Marshfield. Walked in with the guy as he was writing it down vs what my actual inventory said. Can anyone tell me where my 7 lumber tarps, 77 straps, and 20 wenches are? I seem to have misplaced a few!:biggrin_2559:

The thing that gets me is I always fill out my sheets and enter my relay stuff right and my inventory is always wrong. I was beginning to think (probably correctly) that my sheets weren't getting entered in to the system.
