You didn't bother asking what the pay was before accepting the job?

.32cpm-10 bucks a drop. See their ads all the time. Knew a few people who worked their briefly..#6-700 a week and gone a LOT. Expensive benefits and a high turnover. Hope you like handling mattress's. A quasi "bottom feeder"..

I got 37cpm with when I quit back in 2001. Only had 5 years total OTR when I quit.
I used to get home every weekend and every so often once during the week running from the Pomona area to mostly Salt Lake or an occasional Denver.
Had a lot of good times there, made decent money, truck interiors were very nice and met some good drivers that I still keep contact with.
I didn't care much for pulling 14' high trailers in old cities like Tucson. Only reason why I quit was because a better opportunity came along.

I have heard things at KKW are no longer like they used to be.
Those mattress loads can be a bummer especially if you have a Multi stop in Vegas during the summer. I remember an older driver died of a heart attack while unloading in Vegas.

Driver, I wish you the best.

KKW came to my trucking school, they showed up in a brand new Volvo automatic. The positive with them seemed to be the ability to get hired right away and they didn't seem intimidating to work for.
