How many miles did he have to do as a trainer to make that? I made $83,000 as a solo and only averaged 2400 miles a week.

big kid we all know there are better jobs out there: please dont confuse these new guys with your 13 years of paying your dues to get to the better jobs ask jack how long his trainer has been driving and tell us if u made 65000@2400 miles in year 3 of your 13
Figures lie and liars figure, Bs in = BS out and lets compare apples to apples they aren't oranges -
As a lease op it does not matter how many years you have been driving. That only matters as a company driver. I could go there and start and would still only make the ridiculously low rate of .84 a mile or somebody with one year experience could come here to ACT and make $1.00 a mile. Tell me .84 a mile is not the reason the failure rate there is so high. Actually I made $59,000 in my 3rd year which was 10 years ago and did not have to train to do it.

The isn't the whine about leasing thread, it's elsewhere.
I'm in Omaha, right across from Werner's HQ at the truck stop.
We were headed to Harmony, PA and we got T called here for a swap going to LA, CA. After that I should have only one or two more runs before I head back to Rockwall to complete training. -
Well ACT sounds lovely.
But I don't want to have another failed lease on my hands, even if it is walk away. I plan on owning this great truck. Then I might take it somewhere else. -
I'm sitting in northeast PA, on my way to Connecticut, it was a nice and easy run from Greenly, CO.
I sure wish TransAm got the Whisper option on this 2012 trailer =( -
I agree,Trans Am's lease already sucks and when you figure in that half of the country depends on the government to tell them what to do,so they can recieve a government check every month. These same idiot's go and try to lease a truck and they have no idea what to do,so they just run back to the government to support them and their family and leave a truck sitting somewhere.Hard work has become a negative in this country.I'm sure some guy's at Trans-Am make it work, but very few.

Greely is where we picked this load up, we were just there yesterday.

I am broke down on the side of the road in Indiana. Picked up this trailer with the airbags empty on it(swapped once somewhere else, and then to me). How empty airbags got past the 2 other driver's pre-trip is beyond me, but the 700 or so miles driven with the bags empty tore em up to the point that I couldn't get 20 miles once I filled them back up
-
I we had to get a roadside repair on trailer airbags too, whoever had it before rigged it together and cut the mud flaps.
