I spent the night at the East T/A in Ontario a while back. It was pretty quiet. I even walked across the lot to the fuel island to use the bathroom and didn't seen one working girl or hustler in the place.
That's the truckstop that I got suckered into joining TVC years and years ago by a set of nice boobies. Fortunately she miswrote my bank account number for the automatic withdraw so my membership never really got off the ground.

Thank god for that packrat...they have hit me up several times when I spent the nite there. I just blew it off. Tho I did sign up for AFLAC from a guy there inside the store...and I still have it to this day. Best thing I bought from that place....better than the girls...at least I know I won't catch anything and I get paid....lol

Today I just decline their offers and tell then my company safety director has a rolodex of lawyers all over the US to fight any tickets. Working for a small fleet has its privileges!

First time coming here since 2008.. what's the chance at getting parking at 10-11 pm? We can drop our load in Ontario anytime we want but if I go in tonight ill be loitering the truckstop until morning for another load. Debating on just staying in Barstow.

We were just there last week. Lots of parking all the time, no lot lizards, security drives around all night long, great showers, and parking is free if you spend $20 in the store. Also, if you want a hotel to do your 34 hr, the Rodeway Inn is right next to the TA.
BTW, Three Sisters in Fonatana has quadrupled their parking. And the truck wash there is really great and the least expensive of any we've been to. -
The TA is now 2 companies. The east side is now a Petro. The west is still TA. Beyond that it's getting better.
-
Was there 2 weeks ago ... didn't spend $20 - only bought a cup of coffee - and didn't pay to park.
-
Was that because you were there less than 2 hours or so?
-
What's up with having to pay to park? I had to last night at a mom and pop type truck stop but never at a major chain one (i.e. Flying J, Pilot, TA, Petro or Loves).
-
In very high traffic areas with few truck stops they make you pay to park.
I guess it keeps out the riff-raff.
Or it just lines their pockets so they can manage to pay the high taxes, like in SoCal.
Or, they are the only place to find truck parking so they make the most of it.
