C.R. England and Sons, Inc. - West Valley, Ut.

Heres my Story:
After being off the road for 15 years to watch my daughter grow up I needed to get back into trucking. Like an idiot I chose England.
After going through the CDL mill, where everyone gets a CDL no matter what, I went through trianing and the C.A.T program where i got .11 a mile (about $150-200 a week.) Then off on the happy road I went at .26 a mile.
After receiving only 1200 miles per week, I decided to deliver my last load and return the truck and empty trailor back to the yard where I originally picked them up. Now my Driver Manager, a dispatcher by any other name still is as dumb, said that he was going to hit my DAC with truck abandonment and quitting under a load. What can I do about this?

 

Logicbomb; Did you deliver the load? Get the papers signed?Also did you return the tractor & Trailer to an England terminal? OR approved place? If so,you have nothing to worry about.I would go over the DM's head and let him know what the story is.HE MAY HELP YOU.

Why is the DM so out to get you?Whats the rest of the story?

 

I have no idea, why maybe its beacause its the western regional divison and he took me straight outta training and I only lasted 2 weeks
what rest of the story can happan in 2 whole weeks of driving LOL

 

Maybe you need to talk to your DM and explain very calmly why you did it.YOU NEED MILES.Can he give you more miles?See what he says.Then go over his head.Or go national rather than regional.

 

too late for that now, im at home and the truck and spottless and parked at a official england yard. anyhoo, May trucking has already approved my for hire on Friday and thats where Im going

this forum is about the best tool ive seen for new and old drivers, I sure wish I would have known about it on Aug 2nd (the day I called England)

a word of advice with england
I been thier did that if you quit be SURE you put in your QULCOM
this way it's on record then tell HR -n- Safty you quit after turning the truck into the utah yrd
